Free Trial Session
We begin with a free 30-minute trial session to meet your child, discuss concerns, and determine whether Literacy SparkED is a good fit for your learner.

Diagnostic Assessment
An informal comprehensive diagnostic literacy assessment is conducted during the first few lessons to identify your child’s strengths, skill gaps, and current level of understanding. This helps determine what concepts are known, emerging, or still needing explicit instruction.

Lesson Structure
Lessons are 1 hour in length and take place 1-3 times per week from my home in central NW Calgary. Parents may choose to drop off their child or stay during the session.

Each lesson is carefully planned and tailored to your child’s specific needs. Instruction is targeted, systematic, and designed to build skills step by step.
